GT Omega is a manufacturer of sim racing hardware and gaming accessories designed to deliver immersive racing experiences for PC and console players. The company produces racing cockpits, wheel stands, and simulator equipment used by esports competitors, sim racing enthusiasts, and home simulator builders worldwide.
For this project, GT Omega commissioned a 3D product animation to demonstrate the design and functionality of a professional sim racing wheel stand developed for racing simulators.
The stand is engineered to provide a stable and adjustable racing setup while remaining compact and foldable. This makes it suitable for gamers who want a high-performance simulator experience without installing a permanent racing cockpit.

Sim racing hardware often includes multiple mechanical components that allow users to customize their driving position. While these engineering features are essential for usability, they can be difficult to communicate through static images or traditional product photography.
The wheel stand includes several adjustable elements such as steering wheel positioning, pedal plate alignment, and optional mounting points for additional racing peripherals. These functional aspects needed to be presented clearly so viewers could quickly understand how the system works.
The client provided CAD models and technical documentation describing the product’s construction and configuration options. The challenge was to transform this engineering data into a clear visual narrative that demonstrates how the stand improves the racing simulator experience.
Another important goal was to create a presentation style that resonates with the sim racing community, where product stability, durability, and build quality are highly valued.
The final visualization needed to balance technical accuracy with engaging cinematic presentation, ensuring the product’s structure and functionality could be easily understood while maintaining a modern gaming-focused visual style.
To address these challenges, we produced a cinematic 3D product animation designed to visually guide viewers through the structure and functionality of the wheel stand.
Using the supplied CAD files as a foundation, the product was reconstructed with high-precision geometry and physically accurate materials to reflect the steel construction and mechanical design.
The animation focuses on presenting the stand’s key functional elements, including the wheel mounting structure, pedal positioning system, and foldable frame design. Controlled camera movement and detailed lighting were used to highlight the engineering features while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic.
Special attention was given to visual clarity, allowing viewers to easily understand how the stand integrates with racing wheels and pedals in a typical simulator setup.
The final animation presents the product as a durable and reliable piece of gaming hardware designed for serious sim racing enthusiasts.
